1. Rinpung Dzong

Rinpung Dzong is one of the largest dzongs and located in Paro District, Bhutan. It was built in the 16th century by the lords of Hungrel to established for the administrative and monastic center of the western region. Rinpung Dzong entire area has 14 temples and shrines, some name as Kungarwa, Monks' assembly hall, Sandalwood Stupa, Protector's shrine, Chapel of the head lama, etc. The annual festival is held every year in Rinpung Dzong, starts the eleventh to the fifteenth day of the second month of the traditional Bhutanese lunar calendar. Paro Taktsang is the number one attractive place in Bhutan, it's also known as the Tiger's Nest and the Taktsang Palphug Monastery. Paro Taktsang (the Tiger's Nest) temple building is located in the upper of Paro valley, and a prominent Himalayan Buddhist sacred place. In 1692, a temple was first to build, Guru Padmasambhava has meditated for three years, three months, three weeks, three days and three hours, around the Taktsang Senge Samdup cave in the 8th century. It's located upper 1,200 meters at the Punakha administrative center in Punakha district, Bhutan. It was built in 1637 to 1638 by Ngawang Namgyal, 1st Zhabdrung Rinpoche. The dzong houses the consecrated relics of the southern Drukpa Lineage of the Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism, including the Rangjung Kharsapani and the hallowed survives from Ngawang Namgyal and the tertön Pema Lingpa. There has 108 memorial chortens or stupas around the area and built by the eldest Queen Mother ( Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuk) as a memorial in honor of the Bhutanese soldiers who killed in the war against insurgents from India. 13. Drukgyal Dzong Monastery

Drukgyal Dzong was the Buddhist monastery and fortress. Nowadays in ruins, located in the Paro District, western Bhutan. In 1649, It was built by Tenzin Drukdra at the command of Ngawang Namgyal, Zhabdrung Rinpoche, to celebrate victory over an invasion from Tibet. In the early 1950s, Drukgyal Dzong was totally destroyed by fire. It is one of the best historical places to visit in Bhutan.
